CL4000 is an ARM-based power efficient Multimedia Application Processor(MAP) that has higher CPU speed up to 192 MHz with low cost. It enables a rich set of multimedia functions, including megapixel-class digital camera resolution, full motion video capture and playback, and MP3 for mobile phones.
CL4000 supports hardwired JPEG codec(maximum resolution up to 2 mega-pixels) and MPEG4 codec (15fps@QVGA encoding, 30fps@QVGA decoding), and supports various audio file formats incluting MP3, E-AAC+, WMA, RA, OGG, AC3, AMR-WB+, S/W MIDI, audio effects speed control and vocoders such as G.723.1, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, QCELP, and EVRC for users to experience superior quality multimedia features.
