OVERVIEW

CL6100 is an ARM-based power-efficient Multimedia Application Preocessor(MAP) that features USB 2.0 On-The-Go(OTG) and a higher CPU speed. It delivers mega-pixel class digital camera resolution, full motion video capture and playback, MP3, video telephony, and TV-out features for multimedia-rich mobile phones.

 

CL6100 runs at a higher CPU speed of up to 192 MHz. Kt also adopts a new interface, USB 2.0 OTG, allowing users to connect the mobile phone to other peripherals as a dual-role device to reduce limit of data transfer between devices.

 

CL6100 supports hardwired JPEG codec(maximum resolution up to 5 mega-pixels) and MPEG4 codec (30fps@D1), and supports various audio file formats including MP3, E-AAC+, WMA, RA, OGG, AC3, AMB-WB+, S/W MIDI, audio effects, speed control and vocoders such as G.723.1 AMR-NB, AMR-WB, QCELP, and EVRC for users to experience superior quality multimedia features. In addition, it supports Bluetooth version 2.0 including SBC encoding and A2DP which enables users to listen to music hands-free. This chip also supports SD, MMC, and NAND interfaces.
